Anything communicated over unsecure/not-secure-enough wi-fi could've been captured & apparently now decrypted using newly-acquired information?
Yes. An attacker would have to collect that information, AND have grabbed the private keys from a vulnerable site. But there is nothing technically stopping that from happening. (And of course I expect there may be a market for those keys now)
