I'm most def not gonna stop using a product just because I don't agree with the ideas of one person in the team. This makes me wonder if Google, Microsoft, Box or even Amazon aren't behind this kinda message; y'know trying to make it viral and stuff...

I think it's the historic actions of the person rather than their ideas that are bothering people. But I can't speak for them, of course.
