Tasteless advertising video = close window, forget about the product.

The video was very tongue-in-cheek, I would not characterise it as tasteless. I found it pretty funny.

The Wealthy Silver Fox + Gold Digging Blonde archetypes are, if not outright tasteless, so hopelessly played out that it's cringe-inducing.

More like very tongue-hanging-out. I agree it's totally tasteless. I'd go so far as to say it's one of the worst product videos I've seen, and I'd bet it's not helping their conversions at all.

I hadn't bothered watching the video until I read these comments. I only made it 2 minutes in and thought it was pretty hilarious, but my attention span didn't hold any longer .

I don't think it was tasteless - it just wasn't very good. First, it was a bit funny - but the joke went on well after it needed to. Next, it tries to merge the professional actors with the people from the company - and then it gets....painful. The length of it definitely killed my interest, and I was left wondering why they weren't putting the money spent on this into the product. Or put another way, you've got the money to spend on hiring a video crew, actors (assuming you paid them) and edit - why would I give you money?

> I don't think it was tasteless

You're welcome to that opinion. However it clearly isn't universally shared.

Isn't that why we call it an opinion? :)

The video was so awkward and tacky that I can't help but be impressed by their video marketing strategy.

Guess who will remember the product now? This guy.
