Not for ideology alone, but for example Abdallah Aljamal (a Palestine Chronicle writer) was holding hostages in his apartment.

Bearing in mind that you are also not immune to propaganda, and once a reporter or whoever else has been forcibly disassembled it's easy for the aggressor to say what they want about them.

The Israelis have been demonstrably dishonest about this conflict so I'd take anything they release about their war crimes with a grain of salt.

Everything I have read points to that being propaganda, to try and excuse a genocide.

What is indisputable is that Israel has deliberately killed 10's of thousands of civilians, possibly 100's of thousands and has persecuted millions of Palestinians.

The word civilians obviously excludes those involved in combat. There have been hundreds of thousands of civilians murdered and maimed by Israels deliberate actions. There is no lack of evidence for this. Looking to introduce false narratives does not alter that.

By Israel's rubric, turning 12 makes you a youth combatant and sweeping a broom at the Ministry of Transport makes you Hamas, so I guess it depends on who you ask.
