This is an interesting take, I hadn't thought about OSS participation as an element of ESG but it makes sense when you consider that an OSS license is a kind of social contract and that the success of OSS depends to some extent on an awareness of the participatory nature of the model.
Since the woke types go for Equity, Socialism and Gayness points, regular people get better returns buying low-woke companies at a discount. Go woke, go broke.
