I suppose, as with most things, "it depends". If a model-Y base is 39k + 10k FSD, and an ID.4 is 39k, that is ~1100hrs of self-driving (whatever that ends-up being) at that 8.50 price point. If we ballpark 3 days a week, 2hours autonomous drive/day (YMMV, lol) then that is recouped in 46 months. Would rather buy a Tesla, and I don't really care for Tesla.
