You could turn the paragraphs about "not enough money - turn to affiliate etc" into criticism of print magazines being overly nice to advertisers etc., which just a bit earlier were considered to be above such things.

likely, but it's primarily their own time they are wasting. For me, the entire thing is very much in the "so what" category - I'd rather have more people try and getting a few more good ones out of it than it being an exclusive club by some random criteria.
