Very cool, it’s too bad we can’t see anything inside the event horizon yet (and possibly can’t ever). That’s where the really interesting stuff might happen. We know either our current understanding of GR or our current understanding of QM is wrong because of the way they handle singularities differently.
The more I think of it, while it's disappointing from a pure-science point of view, doesn't the lack of our ability to determine whether it's QM or GR that is flawed imply that each is already sufficiently powerful to probe any practical realm we'd care about?
