Since many people may be jumping into this topic without context/awareness: Shawyer's explanations simply do not hold up. Even the minority of folks that know physics and think the emdrive is real agree that Shawyer's proposals are invalid. Further, he's been at this for years, repeatedly making grandiose claims and failing to deliver on them. Take anything he says with a huge grain of salt.
