crybaby

yeah, too bad he wants to tear it down and build a new one in its place. I love old 1920s style Stucco homes. They have a hell of a lot more character and style than anything new. It's sad to see the house lived in in those photos and now its derelict and empty and rotting away.

why would anyone vote this comment down? I think this is a good thing, and you can get more than enough entertainment from the net these days anyway.

Because it doesn't relate to the article. Who cares if he has a TV? This is about saving money watching TV by buying shows directly, rather than paying the general fee.

Because it does relate to the article. And, more and more people are killing their TV because it's crap. Save even more money and kill your TV.

I've had no problems with the Samsung components I've purchased. What kinds of problems with Samsung did you have, or are you just spouting off with no data to back your claim?

NO QA.

5yrs ago I bought a 15" LCD. got home, 5 dead pixels. back to the store, asked to open the box there, had to attach to their POS to do testing. 3 dead pixel... after opening the 3rd box i was satisfied.

now, last year, got a samsung 22" wide screen LCD. Got home, the border gloss finish (talking about 7in of black shiny plastic) was hideously scratched. back to the store. opened 1, 2, 3 box. no more in stock. took only the receipt to a store in another part of town, opened 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. ok, got one with no scratch. probably some thing scratching them on the assembly line. because the protective foil plastic was OK above the scratches.

But i will buy samsung again :) at least, when i opened the LG and then the samsung, the samsung one had little round QA stickers on the LCD panel :)

now, i've also have plenty of anecdotes about LG cdrom and cdram and recently a dvdram driver, if you care. they are all about the laser life being like 40h of work instead of the some-thousand they claim.

this illustrates the biggest problem with the culture in the USA today. people are too god damn sensitive. people "get offended" by something as stupid as a twitter post. twitter, good god! what is next???

sure, you can start and we'll just go down the line.

who CARES what the guys net worth is? Why does it matter? Can not a successful film maker speak for those who are in the down and outs? Just because his films are good, does that make him less worthy to call out the greedy bankers? Who are you, Sean Hannity?!

reminded me of the line in "Roxanne":

"Oh, ho, ho, irony! Oh, no, no, we don't get that here. See, uh, people ski topless here while smoking dope, so irony's not really a, a high priority. We haven't had any irony here since about, uh, '83, when I was the only practitioner of it. And I stopped because I was tired of being stared at. "

pretty idiotic reasoning. go back to school bud.

good thing I still run 3.0.1 - I'll skip 3.1, thanks for the article post

here is the bullshit feature Penn and Teller did on him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2cR2-3Y56U

I find Safari 3 to run very well on Windows, and I've been using it at home lately. It passes the Acid3 test at 100 percent.

while a senior in high school myself and my friends took LSD and while it was certainly not lab-grade acid, just street acid, it was a fascinating experience. We repeated it a couple times more and by the end of the third trip, I felt that there was nothing more to learn from it so I stopped. They kept on for a few more years. I read as many books as I could get my hands on from the library, including a fascinating book called "Acid Dreams" which told how LSD was used by the CIA for research into a possible truth serum. While I would not recommend LSD to anyone for recreational purposes now, it is important that we can learn more about how the brain works by having the chance to use LSD as a learning tool. I think it can be used to help people with various disorders, if used by a qualified physician/counselor and in a good safe environment. Cary Grant was an LSD user and he felt it helped him a great deal late in his life.
