This is disappointing.... Last year i noticed large chunks of my life were being monitored via many spreadsheets and i endeavoured to bring them all together in to one Oracle DB. My plan was to eventually put some ui and graphing on top very similar to OP but seeing this is making me think twice.
I would be extremely surprised if that’s better for the environment than disposable diapers. The key for most of this stuff is economies of scale. It’s why the produce from the supermarket that was carried thousands of miles on a cargo ship is better for the environment than the produce from the farmer’s market that was carried 50 miles in a diesel truck.
A visa is entirely different. EU citizens of course don't need a visa to visit the UK (or the US, or Canada). The UK always had some special border shenanigans (not in the Schengen, etc etc), even for travelers with EU passports, but demanding an advance application with an associated fee is a new level of ridiculousness.
