v interesting benchmark, looking forward to see it evolve over time. actually surprisingly good results already.

maybe add a couple harder APIs (or more complex queries) as well where current models overwhelmingly fail?

that way, we can still measure models in a couple of years against the current ones.

also adding o3 and for reference the model(s) used by superglue in this benchmark would be interesting.

congrats on the launch! unfortunately we witnessed a rapid unscheduled disassembly -- rooting for the next launch!

video of the disassembly: https://tv.vg.no/nyheter/se-den-historiske-rakettoppskytning...

Very reminiscent of SpaceX's earlier test flights.

Keep at it, Isar!

because it's easier :) , see: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9224

was surprised seeing this not discussed previously, as it can have rather big ramifications also for home server holsters etc (if not behind VPN)

it allows you to enable stage manager on an ipad mini without problems and without needing to jailbreak or similar :). the only gotcha is, that the ipad mini doesn't support more than 1080p output, therefore, if you connect a 4k screen it will remain blank.

would love to know if the ipad mini 7 now supports 4k - would actually be a meaningful upgrade then.

That's cool and all, but 18.1 killed the exploit this uses to write the MobileGestalt file. Which means if you buy a mini 7 now, you're probably not going to be able to force-enable Stage Manager like this.

sento builds technical infrastructure to automate workflows between trading partners and exchange of structured B2B data (think orders, delivery notes and invoices). Long term, we replace traditional EDI connections. Almost all products we consume on a daily basis are digitally processed via such connections: from manufacturer over logistic service provider to retailer. We are a small, funded team with a solid customer base - our goal is to automate 100k workflows by 2026. For this, we need to ship flexible features at speed and make our infra solid. As for our team ethos, think WhatsApp, not Salesforce - we value a lean, focused team dedicated to building core products.

Intrigued? I'm Nimar, the CTO of sento. Apply directly via https://sento.crew.work/jobs. Don't forget to mention 'HN' or 'HackerNews' in the free text field for priority processing of your application. For questions, reach out directly to nimar@sento.io .

Finding smart, driven and nice(!!!) people is a priority to us which is why we move fast in the recruiting process :)

Tech stack: Typescript, GraphQL, Apollo, React, vite, TailwindUI, Python (type annotated), FastAPI, Strawberry, Kafka, PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions CI/CD, MS Azure, k8s

We are a small, funded team with a solid customer base - our goal is to automate 1m workflows by 2026. For this, we need to ship flexible features at speed and make our infra solid. Team wise, we're looking to build a WhatsApp (small core team working on infra products) rather than a Salesforce.

If that sounds interesting to you, please reach out to me (Nimar, CTO) at: nimar@sento.io and mention HN.

As a PhD student, if you are using Linux I'd highly recommend you to check out Sioyek (https://sioyek.info/) - works great for annotation/academic research.

It's made for reading technical books/papers and has quite a quiver of functionality supporting exactly that. Was discussed on HN twice already, last thread can be found here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30395649

Very interesting - i really enjoy that some innovation is happening in editors.

This feels similar in goal to LAPCE [1] which was also on HN [2] a couple of weeks ago, except that LAPCE is OSS and available for all platforms.
