Why would he? There will never be a way to prove, but somehow, many people thinks he just needs to repay his campaign supporters.

It is funny to see how there are seemingly fake ruses just for people to forget. Like with EM for example

Great news! I am super happy for her of course but I think it should always be remembered that her husband has been a super hero going through all of this.

Ir is just imagination to not consider the legal trouble od not providing proper support or even worse, improper support

Where is support legally mandated?

These sort of agreements are easily bypassable, especially on such tools.

Someone might just create a spawn of openai with a tag and do all the stuff there...

There is no much guarantee I think

I will say that I work for a company where the owner is a stubborn old man who thinks you need to pay for the services and nothing you get indirectly should be considered honest and fair.

The company downsized 4 times in 3 years... We are still trying, but people see no value because they don't understand how they will be bitten back

There is sudden concern with teenager's safety

Is it weird that out a failed negotiation, there is a threat against a private entity publicly?

Isn't it supposed to be freedom of something? Does this trigger any laws or something? Just for curiosity sake

> Isn't it supposed to be freedom of something?

Oh, you fell for the ads

To be fair. This level of weirdness is not seen since the 60s/70s

Its been there but its just been less public. The CEO of Qwest was ousted/and sent to prison because he refused to allow the government to tap all of their phone systems for NSA mass surveillance. This was like 25 years ago.

The important thing to know is that no one wants a conflict. Don't be used for that. Don't accept that.

We protect our families when we are home. That's all everybody wants.

The fact that someone wants fully autonomous weapons and mass surveillance should be a concern.

Every trigger pressed should have its moral consequences for those who push the trigger.

It is hard to understand why other ai companies are still providing models weights at this point

My guess is that they know they are not competitors so they make it cheaper or free to hinder the surge of a super competitor.
