I was 6 and got my uncle's old 486DX2 when he bought a new computer.

In case someone else is an Arch Linux user and wants to use this, I uploaded a pkgbuild to AUR.

I agree; I remain unconvinced by TrackMeNot, I think it's the wrong approach.

Although the FAQ in the site says Bruce Schneier's criticism was unfounded, I'm not so sure about that. Here's Schneier's post: http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2006/08/trackmenot_1.h...

If someone else is lazy like me, you can put the following in your ~/.gitconfig

  [alias]
      magic = rebase -i HEAD~10
Then you can just use 'git magic' instead of writing the full command.

Just keep in mind that it hardcodes the operation to the last ten generations of commits, which is not necessarily what you want. See "SPECIFYING REVISIONS" in the man page for git-rev-parse (http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/v1.6.1/git-r...) for all the different ways you can format the HEAD~10 part.

Then again, I have an alias "git cia" for "commit -a"... Just remember where to look it up if you need something more elaborate.

The Firefox plugin at addons.mozilla.org is messed up (I looked at the contents and found it's an html document). However, the "Benefit right away by installing the firefox plugin" link has a working xpi. Just a heads-up for anyone wondering why they can't install the plugin. :-)

EDIT: Oh, and the statusbar icon is utterly pointless.

I'm working on a lightweight shell. It was originally an assignment for university, but I thought it was interesting to work on it.

I'm also trying to start a project with my Arduino, though I'm not sure what I'll create. Maybe a simple robot.

That's called flow. I've been reading a book by Mihaly Csikszentmihaly on that ( http://www.amazon.com/Flow-Psychology-Experience-Mihaly-Csik... ).

That's what drives me, too.

I use scrot and then upload the resulting screenshot to my slice.
