I like this daily "What's in the Putin's head" guessing in the West media. The man himself stated everything 15 years ago in his Munich speech. The core problem - European security is build at the expense and against Russia. NATO expansion after USSR dissolution(which was voluntary act) is seen as proof of its hostility and having military bases of the hostile military alliance right at your borders is existential threat. It is this simple.
But from whom did you get that information about FSB and MSS? CIA and MI6 may assassinate anyone as they please because there is no one to expose them. At least we know that Mossad doesn't have problem with killing politicians, scientist and journos.
NATO bases appeared at Russia's borders way before any invasion happened. In fact, all NATO furtherance's were done at the time when Russia was in its weakest state, democratic and still trying to play nice to the West.
I just randomly googled one of the cases -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Munich_shooting
and perpetrator "was the son of Shiite Muslims from Iran who came to Germany as asylum seekers in the 1990s."
Immediately closed the article
You shouldn't have done that because a few sentences later the wiki describes how he was motivated by other mass shootings, which is precisely what the article is talking about. Was he a white attacker, well yes, but based on the wiki I wouldn't say he was a supremacist.
