Maybe not bragged "we made them dance"?

That gloating aged poorly.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience!

I often think "I should get me one of those" (MNT Pocket, or similar form-factor), but with my visual acuity getting worse (got my reading glasses in the past year), my X1 carbon might just remain my mainstay.

Elon can remain a successful bs'er longer than you can remain solvent... or something like that.

I don't know why you're being downvoted.

So, lately I've been trying to decouple AI from Capitalism, and it's starting to explain a lot of things, like:

* excessive hype

* doing layoffs, and scapegoating AI

* pushing AI into everything (Copilot)

* etc.

Wow, looks like you've put a lot of thought into this!

I skimmed the breakdown, and you've inspired me try something along these lines...

Thank You For Making And Sharing :)

Please do! My goal with this project has been to build something that helps other people, so if I've inspired you to build, all the better!

Is there a place you share this kind of stuff? I'd love to follow along.

I was trying to figure out why this article got flagged. Thanks!

Why are your comments often Russian novels?

Do you have 1 hour to compose and write down your thoughts?

I found it thoughtful and thought provoking. I agree that it seems too unlikely and irrational and unnecessary - and quite rude to speculate, given Occam’s razor - that Altman actually had someone killed.

I've got "fuck you" money and all the time in the world.

I like to think about things I find interesting and write my thoughts out. This takes me five minutes.

What would I gain from limiting my thought process to accommodate the needs of strangers on the internet used to short form goldfish brain content?

Feel free to block me if you don’t want to read my comments, or simply go fuck yourself. Have a nice day.

From a POSIWID perspective, you are right.

From a "we live in a civilized society" perspective, I can see why some people are outraged about his killing.

Finally, looking at the balance sheet of his accomplishments, I can also see why the pitchfork crowd is cheering.

> From a "we live in a civilized society" perspective, I can see why some people are outraged about his killing.

I sometimes wonder how many of the "outraged" are really just people who don't want to be judged for what they've done too.

POSIWID?

It does seem to be nonsense, yes. The duck test makes more sense. In the duck test, you can't claim something is an eagle if it walks and quacks like a duck. In POSIWID, however, you can't claim you intended it to be an eagle.

> Across several stores, salespeople reported doing dozens of demos without closing a single sale. “We sell maybe one a week,” Barrett said in late May, two weeks after the union had voted to authorize a strike in order to make a final push for a contract.

> “Uh, none a week,” Billy Jarboe, a coworker, corrected her. “If we do a return, we’re negative.”
