I've had mixed luck with that auto 31 jewel Vostok movement - one still going strong (although it did have to be sent back to RU for attention), and another that completely gave up the ghost

Prior to certain geopolitical events they could be had for under three figures, which is a steal if you got a good one

The danger with the older ones is that the rubber seals might be toast - if it's an Amphibia this kind of defeats the object of a dive watch

Funny you say this, because for a good while I was running OC'd RAM

I didn't see any instability, but Event Viewer was a bloodbath - reducing the speed a few notches stopped the entries (iirc 3800MHz down to 3600)

On Dell you'll probably be stuck with the original mobo, and their SFFs don't take standard PSUs

In favor of their SFFs, they get retired 10k at a time, so you might as well pick up a second one for spares.

Not a bad call, although you'll probably need to upgrade the PSU to add a GPU (if you can find one small enough to fit the SFF case)

I got bit by this. RMA'd the bad drive and the replacement hasn't had problems (iirc it was made in a different country to the faulty one)

I don't think that's weird, lots of places stop serving alcohol entirely after a certain time, so the time factor makes sense. Lots of people bar-hop, by that time they're already drunk.
