I find it extremely hard to uninstall software from ubuntu unless the software was installed from snapcraft.

Due to the absence of a window's equivalent `Uninstall or Change Program`, I can't even recommend it to my parents either. There are a lot of ways to install software, but to uninstall you need to know what is installed and that isn't as simple as Windows/macOS.

Also since Netflix and Prime Video does not support 1080p playback on Linux (irrespective of your browser), I can't use it as my only OS either.


why is that? I would assume GNOME Software or whatever graphical software package manager was installed would be enough for uninstalling things.
